Just outside the dining room, our 4,000 square foot patio provides guests with the opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbor al fresco, over the rolling lawn that spreads down to water’s edge. Sumaria’s lower level facility also offers modern, commercial-grade rest rooms and a 400 square foot game room which may be used as a bridal changing room. It's the perfect Maine wedding reception site! Ms. Sprague-Palino is available to consult with you about special menus and decorative selections to make your event an elegant and magical affair.

The
Sumaria Harborfront Conference Center is located in New Harbor, a
quintessential fishing village in mid-coast Maine. New Harbor makes
a great wedding reception location. First visited by Bartholomew
Gosnold in 1602, this real working harbor offers a casual atmosphere
of quiet coastal beauty. Untouched by the rush of city life, your
wedding guests can relax and enjoy watching boat traffic wind in
and out of Muscongus Bay. From our historic fish house at water’s
edge, one can watch lobstermen unload the catch of the day!
Sumaria’s
contemporary cedar conference complex sits easily on a 10-acre hillside
with paved parking for 100 vehicles. Spectacular views of the harbor
are seen from our lower level, 2,500 square foot dining room which
accomodates up to 200 people for a wedding reception.
Adjacent to the dining room we offer a 400 square foot area
that is wired for electronic band equipment and large enough to accommodate
a dance floor.
